Practice Schedule

Effective 3/9/2026, ABQRD will be practicing three times weekly on the outdoor derby track at Wells Park Community Center (500 Mountain RD NW, Albuquerque, NM 87102).  Regular practice days are as follows:

Tuesdays & Thursdays:  7:00pm-9:00pm

Sundays:  9:00am-11:00am

 

SCHEDULE DEVIATIONS:

• Please note that practices may be canceled due to adverse weather conditions such as high winds, extreme temperatures, or precipitation.  Cancelations will be announced on Instagram and Facebook, so please follow us on social media.

• Monthly league meetings are held on the first Thursday of every month instead of an on-skates practice.  The meetings are held at 6:30pm at Albuquerque Friends Meeting House (1600 5th ST NW, Albuquerque, NM 87102).  Our next monthly league meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 3rd, at 6:30pm.

• We occasionally skip practice at the track in favor of a trail skate through the Bosque to challenge our endurance and stamina.  Everyone is welcome to join us on these trail skates -- we love making new friends!   Our trail skates depart from the National Hispanic Cultural Center, 1701 4th St SW, Albuquerque, NM 87102.  Check back for upcoming plans.
